Here's some questions we often get asked....
Due to the vast range of circumstances we have to take in to account (full band or acoustic, travel, dates/event duration, size of venue, sound requirements etc...) we do not have a fixed price. Please get in touch via the booking tab on the navigation bar and we will provide a quotation within 24 hours.
1. Before confirming a booking we ask for you to sign a copy of our performance agreement for the protection of both parties.
2. A 20% booking fee is required to be paid within 30 days of event confirmation, this is to secure the band for a specific date and is non refundable.
3. The final remaining balance is to be paid 1 week ahead of the event.
4. Should the event need to be rescheduled or postponed there will be no additional charge providing the band are available on the revised date. If the request can not be accommodated this would fall under cancellation terms.
5. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the following cancellation fee will be charged: Within 90 days of the event date - 50% of the remaining fee.
91 days+ of the event date - 0% of the remaining fee.
6. In the extremely unlikely event the band can no longer honor the booking due to unplanned illness or injury, we will endeavour to find and offer a like for like replacement band. If for any reason the replacement band is not wanted and agreed before the event, then the total fee including the booking fee would be transferred back to the hirer.
7. ‘Force Majeure’ on or before the date of the event, if a situation arises which renders the agreement impossible to fulfil (not attributable to any act or failure to take preventative action by the hirer), the hirer may cancel the performance without penalty other than loss of any booking fee already paid.
8. The hirer shall not make or permit the making of any audio and/or visual recording or transmission of the musicians’ performance without the prior written consent of the band.
There are four of us in the main band. Gabi on lead vocals, Rich on guitar, Jacob on bass & backing vocals and Alex on drums. For larger events we may bring additional crew members to support with the technical running of the performance.
Yes! We know the importance of getting the entertainment right for your big event so we offer all customers the opportunity to come and listen to us perform at our reharsal studios in Redditch or Birmingham. You can get to know us, discuss your event and hear us play a few songs.
Assuming theres straight forward access at the venue, equipment load in, setup and soundcheck takes up to 90 minutes. If you are planning to have the evening entertainment in the same room as your main meal we can normally speed this up. Most venues provide a seperate bar area for guests to locate to whilst the room is being changed around but we can liase directly with the venue to avoid any distruption.
The bands 'typical' on site times are between 5:00pm and 12:00pm (including setup and load out assuming 11:30 finish) We do offer an extended 1am finish option which can be requested via the booking form. In order to maximise the dancing we suggest placing the band later in the evening and around other events you may have (buffet, cake cutting, fireworks etc). Typical timings for a wedding would look something like this:
5.00pm – Band arrive, set-up and soundcheck.
7.00pm – Background disco music whilst guests arrive.
9.00pm – Band’s first performance
10.00pm - Interval for food, cake cutting or other evening entertainment with disco music.
10.30pm – Band’s second performance
11:30pm – Disco music whilst band load out
12.00am – Event finish and band leave site.
1. We need 4x 13amp (standard) plug sockets from 2 seperate spurs for our sound and lighting equipment with a floor space of around 4 metres by 3 metres to set it all up.
2. If the venue has a noise limiter installed please let us know in advance so we can bring the correct sound equipment.
3. Parking spaces will need to be provided, where possible these should be located close proximity to the performing space / building.
4. As we're often on site 7+ hours we ask that you're able to provide soft drinks and a meal for each member of the band, this is not a mandatory condition to the booking but should be discussed prior to the event.
We certainly are! Most venues insist on this so we have £5,000,000 public liabaility insurance. All our electrical equipment is PAT certified every year, we can email both documents to the venue before the event.
Providing we have enough notice we can learn special requests and first dance songs for a small fee. We can also work with you to plan the perfect playlist in between the band performances to guarantee guests are on the dancefloor all evening! This is included free of charge with our DJ service.
